Join fellow Florida Ambulance Association member organizations in honoring those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
The Florida Ambulance Association is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Stars of Life event. On February 9th we will be honoring nominated EMTs and Paramedics with a breakfast medal ceremony, followed by meetings at the Florida State Capitol with their state legislators.
Who is a Star of Life?
We know that EMS saves, sustains, and touches lives every day. Let's shine a light on all of the important work we do by recognizing those who have resuscitated a patient, improved public health, had a positive impact in the community, or showed exceptional care and compassion.
Florida Paramedics, EMTs, Dispatchers, and other EMS professionals who have gone above and beyond can be nominated as Stars of Life. (Stars from outside of the Florida Ambulance Association must be approved by the FAA board.)
In addition, we will be honoring all of our fallen heroes. If your service would like to honor someone who lost their life to COVID-19 please be sure to submit our information form so we can include them in our program.
